Grading

Below are grading decisions I made and put into the Course Information Sheets. At the end of  last year, I reviewed  the weight assigned to categories and I  added more value to projects and less to TBA. I enjoy discussing  these grading considerations with colleagues.

For ESL 911:

Late Work Policy & Make Up Tests. I will accept assignments up to one week late; however, you will lose points.  If you tell me ahead of time that you will be absent, you can make up ONE quiz or test.

To Be Arranged (TBA) Hours: This class requires one hour a week in addition to the hours spent in the classroom. I will provide instructions regarding this requirement, which is 5% of your grade.
