What is PPK?

Bellingham Pop Warner's unofficial, annual kick-off to the season and fundraiser - and stands for Punt, Pass & Kick.

A friendly competition where ALL players & cheerleaders compete for the longest distance in each category. Prizes for first place in every team.

It's also a time when we take photos of each player and cheerleader - as required by our league to officially get them on the roster AND pass out uniforms and game shirts.

When and where is it?

This Saturday, Aug. 8 at the middle school practice fields.

9 to 10 a.m.: C-team football, B-team football & cheer
10 to 11 a.m.: D-team football & cheer
11- Noon: Mitey Mites football & cheer

Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to register, take photos and pick up uniforms.

What do I have to bring?

At tonight's practice, team moms will be passing out pledge forms. Please bring that with you as well as $35 per player ($50 family max). Checks can be made out to Bellingham Pop Warner.

Do we have to collect all our pledges by this Saturday?

Nope. You can collect pledges towards PPK up until Aug. 17 using the pledge form you get tonight. All you need to bring this Saturday is the mandatory $35. The form will be given back to you so you can keep collecting.

What happens on Aug. 17?

We will have a table set up at practice to collect pledge forms and PPK Prize Order Sheets. Sounds counterintuitive BUT any money raised (including the mandatory $35 per player) can be used as "cash" towards Falcon gear. In other words, if you raise $50, you will get $50 off something you want like a Falcon's Under Armour Sweatshirt!

Email us back. Or ask your team mom.

Welcome from new Prez

Dear Parents:

On behalf of Bellingham Pop Warner Board of Directors, I want to thank you for your family’s involvement in our program. As having served as a coach for four seasons and a board member for two, I know the amount of time and effort it takes to prepare a team and league for the upcoming season and I would like to thank you in advance for making a commitment to our program.

Please Take Time to Volunteer

For those of you who do not know, we as a board begin preparation for the upcoming season in January and work all the way through to the end of our current season. I would like to encourage all of our families to become more involved in our program. This is an ALL volunteer based organization and without parent participation it will be impossible to grow and improve. Please get involved, and get involved early - yes, you Mites parents - it is not too early for you, and we welcome your involvement!  You are the future coaches, board members and leaders of this program.  Don't be intimidated - step up.  We all did, and I can tell you we all share the same passion for this program.

We are currently seeking:

Co-Cheer Coordinator to work alongside Tracey Elliott in recruiting and support cheer coaches for the 2015 season. Please email bellinghampopwarner@gmail.com to learn more.

Team parent for each team to support the coach, collect and distribute paperwork and coordinate concession stand volunteers. Please email bellinghampopwarner@gmail.com to learn more.

Head coaches for *football and cheer. *Please know, we will be hosting a mandatory 6-week football coaching clinic for all interested individuals (parents who would like to learn more about the game are also welcome to attend) on Mondays, Feb. 23-March 30  from 6 to 8 p.m. at the VFW Hall. We’ll cover practice, offense, defense, special teams/films and more. This does not guarantee a coaching role as each head coach determines his final coach roster. Certification is required to serve as a head coach.

Please go to announcement section at BellinghamPopWarner.com to sign up.

Continued Growth

Finally, I want to encourage you to recruit new families into our organization so that we can continue to grow our football and cheer family! As a parent who has had all three of my children in the program for the last five years, I have seen the benefits first hand and I’m committed to seeing it last into the future.

Registration for the 2015 season are available on our site and please keep an eye out for a registration date coming soon!

Welcome To 2015

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at any time if you have any questions, concerns or comments.  I am already looking forward to the 1st week of August. See you on the fields....

President, Bellingham Pop Warner
