Note how the early rural village was located in Carmarthenshire but by the twentieth century it had developed industrially and extensively eastwards into Glamorganshire.

The aim of this site is to record the place-names of the village of Pontardulais along with their histories and etymologies.
Places will be listed in alphabetical order. The site is not complete and additions will be made.
Names of Farms and Public Houses are not incuded here. They will be part of two other websites in due course, named Pontardulais Farms and Pontardulais Public Houses.
