We are very sad to advise the recent death of Ted Bouvier. Our thanks to David Thompson (Ted's nephew) for his message which is included below.
"It is with great regret that I must advise the passing of Ted Bouvier on October 16th after a long battle with cancer. He was 77.
Ted began his career with OCL as a Movements Supervisor at Aintree Containerbase in the early 1970’s before moving to Manchester Containerbase in 1986. He was a very popular and well respected member of the team and will be missed by all. He later went on to work at Roadways before his retirement in 2015.
A lifelong Everton season ticket holder, to his great pleasure and satisfaction he was well enough to make a couple of visits to their new stadium before he became too ill. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, and sons Chris and Peter."
His funeral is taking place today at Bishop Eaton Church, Woolton Road, Liverpool, L16 8NQ, Thursday 6th November at 12 noon, followed by cremation at Springwood Crematorium, Springwood Avenue, Liverpool, L25 7UN at 1.30pm.
