Welcome to Specialty Polymer Materials Lab. @ Chungnam National University

We focus on the design and development of advanced functional polymeric materials for applications in energy, defense, electronics, and environmental technologies. Our research encompasses porous carbon materials and polymeric binders for high-performance energy storage systems, eco-friendly photoresist materials for semiconductor and display fabrication, polymer binders for solid propellants  in defense applications, thermoplastic composites for automotive applications, and flame-retardant polymer composites for high-voltage wires and cables in electric vehicles. Through systematic investigation of structure-property-performance relationships, we aim to develop next-generation materials with enhanced functionality and reliability.
