This year McKinley and Middle School students will have the opportunity to compete in the Math League with over one million other students. Students compete in one thirty-minute contest by solving interesting and challenging math problems. The Math League stimulates interest and confidence in mathematics by covering a range of mathematical knowledge for each grade level while never requiring any mathematics beyond the grade level. Every student is welcome to participate regardless of math ability. Students are permitted to use calculators for this contest. Students can practice for the Math League online. Every McKinley Elementary and Middle School student has received an online Math League account. Even if you aren’t sure your child will participate in the contest, your child can still complete practice contests online. This free program provides the opportunity for extra math practice through June 30, 2017. You can download instructions for using the Math League Adaptive Learning System at the bottom of this page.
