In November 2014, we lost a passionate volunteer, rhino crusader and most importantly our friend Stefani Seiber.

Stefani's passion as a volunteer at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium made her well known to staff and volunteers alike at PDZA. Over the past few years, Stefani earned the top fundraiser prize for Bowling For Rhinos. In 2014, Stefani raised $1165.00 for the cause & hoped to exceed her accomplishment in 2015.

Stefani was an active part of our AAZK chapter in addition to volunteering for Point Defiance Zoo. She traveled for Florida in fall 2014 to participate in the National AAZK Conference at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Her favorite event of the year was Bowling for Rhinos where she would work tirelessly to not only fundraising for the event but take the time to educate people about the plight of pachyderms.

Point Defiance AAZK Chapter will continue to raise funds for "Bowling For Rhinos" in Stefani's honor as she inspired so many of us. We applaud the Seiber family as they continue Stefani's legacy each year by participating in Bowling for Rhinos.
