♪ (†) ♪ The Lord's Prayer

Here one will find my melody to The Lord's Prayer. I made the melody in the year 2003. God gave me the melody first, then God gave to me it was fit for The Lord's Prayer. The prayer, that is the text, is in the song as it is found in the King James Bible. The passage is to be found in St. Matthew 6:9-13.

Here is an arrangement for violin and violincello, made in the summer of 2016:

Here I am singing it, recorded the summer of 2003:

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this this our daily bread. And forgive us our depts, as we forgive our deptors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.
