Amateur Radio Low Power Operators of the Pacific Northwest

QRP is a special ham radio abbreviation that means to operate at low power. To many amateur radio operators it means operating at 5 watts or less transmitter power.  To some it means building the radios they use to operate at low power.  QRP operators have varying interests and operating styles.  The one thing that most QRP operators like to do is to gather with other QRP operators to talk about operations, equipment, operating styles, and anything else that pertains to their hobby.

The Pacific Northwest QRP Group was created to give QRP operators in the Pacific Northwest the opportunity to engage with other QRP operators to share their passion for low power operating, building and experimenting with electronic circuitry and helping each other learn more about all facets of our fascinating hobby.
