Chapter Engagement

The goal of the PMI Agile CoP is to provide global outreach to both PMI chapters and agile groups, and to further the education of PMI membership in agile aspects of project management.  We support the CoP by providing PMI Chapters with information and connections to build knowledge about Agile and strengthen the Agile community within PMI.

Serving all PMI members world-wide takes a collaborative effort, and we are in the process of identifying local Chapter Engagement Representatives to act as liaisons to the Chapters.  The CoP Engagement Representative  is formally recognized by their Chapter and should be able to "bridge" information and connections between the PMI Chapter and local Agile groups – so being a member and/or active in each is the best positioning for the role.  The Representative will:

  • answer questions and communicate with Chapter members about the CoP purpose and services
  • facilitate Chapter member interaction with the CoP and CoP services
  • explain how to become a CoP member
  • explain access to and use of the CoP web page at and the PMI Agile CoP wiki
  • help to establish collaborative events with local agile groups
  • help to engage agile speakers
  • provide the CoP with feedback from the Chapter about our services and interactions
  • provide descriptions of Chapter-Agile group collaborative events that can be posted on the CoP wiki and elsewhere
