Plumbing Technology II Course # 14501 Grade Level 12,  2 credits - full year

Course prerequisites:  Students entering year II must have passed competency requirements for Plumbing Technology, year I.

The plumbing trades have always provided high wage, high demand jobs for qualified, motivated technicians.  The plumbing program at the R.W. Creteau Technology Center is based on the nationally recognized NCCER  plumbing trade curriculum.   As students successfully complete each text module their test and performance skill records are sent to and recorded by the NCCER registrar in Gainsborough Fla.  These records of completion are valid throughout the nation and follow the student through their career.  Successful completion of both years of the program is considered as completion of year one of the state of New Hampshire Plumbing apprentice program.

Skills Competition
The Plumbing Trades Program also competes in the state Skills competition where
students from other plumbing trades programs, demonstrate their plumbing skills
in competition.  The winning team goes on to compete in Kansas City at the
nationals.

NORA SILVER CERTIFICATE

We will soon be offering second year students the opportunity to be certified by NORA as a silver certificate oil burner technician.  This certification opens up many doors for the student in the heating and cooling trades and provides another opportunity for employment or a step towards post secondary education in the plumbing & HVAC trades.
