Towards Victoria as a Learning Community

On the 15th November, the Government released a consultation draft of The Compact, a companion document to 'Towards Victoria as a Learning Community.'

The document provides details about roles and responsibilities of government school, regions and central office in relation to school autonomy and professional trust.

As a collective of grass roots teachers, who are not currently being asked to participate in educational debates and discussions, we see this as an opportunity to enable teachers' voice.

How you can contribute:

We will be responding to the draft as grass roots teachers and you can contribute by leaving your thoughts on this web form or joining us for a Google Hangout on Monday 10th December.  Using the ideas left on the form and discussions from the hangout we will draft a response to the compact to submit on behalf of grass roots teachers.
