I am a research scientist at the Rudjer Boskovic Institute. My research is focused on ab initio calculations in fields of material science, surface science and spintronics.
Besides the DFT (density functional theory) calculations I develop numerical methods by myself. The most successful one, so far, is the Robin Hood method. It is currently the best method for solving electrostatic problems in BEM (Boundary Elements Methods) formulation. The spin-off company "Artes Calculi" was based on that method.
