Centennial Heritage Trees: UPLB @100

University of the Philippines Los Banos
- Twelve heritage trees almost a hundred years were unveiled by administration officials of the University of the Philippines at Los Baños (UPLB) last June 18, 2008.The identified trees -- toog, acacia, dao (2), pili, kapok, divi-divi, narra, royal palm, molave, teak and lauan -- were marked and presented to UPLB officials in time for the celebration of the UP centennial anniversary. The heritage trees were chosen by an
ad hoc ommittee on heritage trees based on their association with significant cultural and political events.
