Beer Rice

  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 1/4 cup rice, uncooked
  • 1 (12-oz) beer
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder


In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Add rice and cook for 5 minutes, until starting to brown. Add beer, water and onion powder. Cover and simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until liquid is absorbed.
