Urban Design, GIS Analysis and Regional Economic Modeling | PJ Smith

New Site (Under Construction)http://www.pjsmithdp.com/

Welcome to my online urban design portfolio!

I am an innovator in sustainable urban development and long term real estate investment with an integrated philosophy toward regional sustainability, focused economic development, strategic town planning and smart geographic information systems. My goal is to create and regenerate urban systems into places that are "worth caring about" by nature of sustainability, culture and design, to make places more understandable, and to improve the world we all share one puzzle piece at a time.

I am currently developing on an economic model entitled 'Regional Economic Design' that will utilize the Orlando region as a case study to describe how globally-competitive regions of the future can grow in a more financially, ecologically and culturally sustainable way. The case study will include a specific development and conservation proposal to counter the 2050 Trend Urban Model developed by the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council through the study "How Shall We Grow".
