Lambda Alpha

Lambda Alpha is a nationally recognized anthropology honors society.  Our chapter aims to supplement an education in anthropology by aiding independent research projects, encouraging philanthropic activities and engagement in campus activities.

Semester Meeting Schedule Spring 2017:
Meetings take place on the second Thursday of each month at 5:00pm.

January 18        Introductory Meeting
February 9       How to get started with a research project
March 2           Resume/CV/How to write an email to a prospective adviser
April 13             Independent Studies/Directed Readings

Meeting locations will be announced prior to the meetings.

Requirements Include:
  • Maintain a 3.25 GPA in Anthropology and a 3.0 GPA overall
  • Attendance at monthly Lambda Alpha Meetings
  • Attendance to at least three Anthropology Club Meetings
  • Pay Dues
