Tuesday: Coreano's Food Truck

Next week we have a guest speaker visiting our culinary arts class to talk about the mobile food industry and his experiences being a restaurateur.  The speaker, a local restaurateur who owns Coreanos food truck, will be bringing his truck and crew to serve lunch on Tuesday for the staff.  If you are interested in purchasing a meal, or even just coming to check out the truck, please stop by the west parking lot on Tuesday May, 27th during all 4 lunches.  Last year there were long lines, so get out there early.


About Coreanos and the Mobile Food Vendor Industry Coreanos offers a fusion of Korean and Mexican flavors.  The truck is often featured at The Houston Food Park and UH.  If you are not familiar with the recent boom in the mobile food vendor industry, you may be expecting the usual taco truck.  However, Coreanos and other trucks like it are differentiating themselves by bringing in chefs to help create unique and higher end dining experiences.

Thursday: Philly Cheese Steak Wraps w/ Potato Wedges

Teachers, we will be serving lunch tomorrow instead of Friday because of the crawfish boil.  The cost is $7 and you can pick up in room 231 during the beginning of your reserved lunch time.

Friday -Yogurt w/ Blueberry Compote and Granola

Stop by on Friday during 2nd, 3rd, or 4th lunch for a light and healthy snack.  We will be serving yogurt with blueberry compote and house made granola.  The cost is $2.  No reservations.  First come, first serve.

Blackberry Cobbler Thursday

This week our students are learning how to make soups, so we will be offering a soup and sandwich combo.  The cost is $7 dollars and the meal includes a grilled cheese sandwich (smooth american cheese between slices of Texas toast), potato chowder (potato soup topped with bacon and cheddar cheese), and iced tea.

We deliver meals per request.  Please add that in the "Special Requests" section.  Be sure to add a room number and have exact change ready.

No Lunch This Friday
