Rajesh Piryani is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institut de Recherche en Informatique de Toulouse (IRIT)-Universite Toulouse III Paul Sabatier (UT3), Toulouse, France. Previously, he was a Post-doctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Library, Information and Media Science, University of Tsukuba, Japan (Information Intelligent Research (II-Research) Lab). He completed his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science, South Asian University (SAU) in August 2019. He obtained Master’s degree in Computer Application (MCA) from South Asian University, New Delhi, India in 2013 and received a Bachelor's degree (B.E. in Computer Engineering) from Tribhuvan University, Institute of Engineering (IOE) Pulchowk Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2010. He worked as a Visiting Researcher at GESIS-Leibniz Institute of Social Science, Cologne, Germany. Also, he served as a Consultant at UNESCO, Bangkok Asia under the supervision of Sue Vize Regional Adviser for Social and Human Sciences in Asia and the Pacific.
Moreover, he served as a reviewer for various journals (Journal of Knowledge-based Systems, Applied Soft Computing, IEEE Access, Journal of Intelligent Information Systems) and Programme Committee member for various Conferences/Workshops (Applied Data Science Track Papers @KDD 2021, GReS@RecSys’21, CIKM@2021, SMM4H@NAACL2021, KnOD@The Web Conference 2021, BIR@ECIR2021, SDPRA@PAKDD2021, X-SENTIMENT@ESWC2021).
