Pippi house is a safe house for girls at risk in Arusha, Tanzania, East Africa.  We are providing accommodation, food, and education for girls who have been victims of trafficking, child labour, homelessness, extreme poverty, and no adult guidance, and therefore have not been able to go to school.  We have 22 year olds who are now attending primary school.  They are serious about their school work and they work very hard.  Truly brave young women with the potential of becoming future role models for their fellow sisters, showing that education is a sustainable way of leaving poverty.

There are currently 20 girls living at Pippi house as well as 4 babies.  Three new girls recently came to Pippi House off of the streets and had no where else to go.  Pippi House were unable to turn them away and accepted the young women even though the home is already over capacity.  This means that there is an even greater need for additional financial support to give them a safe roof over their head, food, and pay for school fees.  To sponsor the new or existing girls at Pippi House it is $60 US per month.
