Welcome to the Covered Bridge 5K - 10K!

 
 
 
The Covered Bridge 5K/10K is a run/ walk that is held in conjunction with the Covered Bridge Festival in Zumbrota Minnesota. The event is held the third Saturday in June and begins and ends at the historic Covered Bridge. The course has been certified and is suitable for runners and walkers of every ability.
 

All proceeds from this event will go towards the Goodhue Pioneer Trail. The Goodhue Pioneer Trail is a multipurpose trail which will someday link the communities of Pine Island, Zumbrota, Goodhue, Mazeppa and Red Wing.  The first segment of the trail; Red Wing to Hay Creek has been completed. The summer of 2010 construction will begin on the a four mile segment of trail near Zumbrota.
