Pioneer Park Pickers

We are a loosely organized group of musicians who gather on Tuesday evenings at the Pioneer Park Museum (2300 Airport Way, Fairbanks, Alaska) to jam from ~6:30 pm to ~9:30 pm.

At this time due to the COVID-19 situation, we are meeting using Zoom, for more info. We also are occasionally meeting informally outdoors and socially distanced. Please take a look at our calendar for a number of Zoom options for playing with new and old musical friends!

If you've an interest in joining us acoustically and/or vocally we'd love to have you drop by and join the fun. Bring a song or two to share. All ages, skill levels, acoustic instruments, and singers are welcome!

At one time or another, you may have seen us collectively, individually, or as smaller "bands" playing around Fairbanks. We are grateful for the long term support provided by the Fairbanks Arts Association in helping us find a "home" within Pioneer Park.

You are welcome to join our occasional mailing list (send an email to guitarwebguy at gmail.com). Check our calendar for upcoming events, and watch for more pictures and places that we play and occasional soundbites from various "pickers and groups they play with". We look forward to seeing you there!

As mentioned, we are a "loosely organized group" with no dues or membership requirement, however, if you would like to contribute to our existence (we do pay a rental fee for our use of the Pioneer Park Museum on Tuesday evenings) please let me know!
