I am an applied-theory economist, interested mainly in the simultaneous interdependence among Policy Makers, Voters/Consumers, and Firms. For that reason, in my research, I mix instruments and topics that are standard in Public Economics, Political Economy, Political Science, and Industrial Organisation.
I hold a full-time research position at the Barcelona Economics Institute (IEB) and a part-time teaching position at the University of Barcelona (UB) since September 2010. Since 2011, I also teach Microeconomics at University Pompeu Fabra (UPF)
I received my PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics in 2008.
