I am an applied-theory economist, interested mainly in the simultaneous interdependence among Firms, Policy Makers and Voters/Consumers. For that reason, in my research, I mix instruments and topics that are standard in Public Economics, Political Economy, Political Science, and Industrial Organisation.
I am Research Fellow at the Barcelona Economics Institute (IEB) and Assistant Professor at the University of Barcelona (UB) since September 2010. Since 2011, I also teach Microeconomics at University Pompeu Fabra (UPF)
I am currently visiting at Collegio Carlo Alberto (Turin, Italy) until the end of September.
I received my PhD from the Toulouse School of Economics in 2008.
Since, I had a two year appointment (2008-2010) @ Universidad de Alicante. I spent 6 months (in 2008) @ Universitat Autonòma de Barcelona (UAB), and 3 months (in 2010) @ CentER (Tilburg University).
