Young’s attorney, John Saxon, denies the suit’s claims, saying that the only type of relationship Young had with the student was as a counselor to her during her parents’ divorce. The student’s attorney, Paul Patterson, provided a transcript of three text messages he said were sent from Young’s cell phone to the student’s cell phone on Oct. 16, 2009:

·  Text message No. 1 reads: “I was hoping to get to pull some strings for you so you’d owe me. You owe me so much already from getting you outta class. By the way, we still have plans after graduation?”

·   Text message No. 2 reads: “The thoughts in my mind were more than slightly inappropriate so to say yes would be a mild understatement.”

During that time Frazier allegedly discussed his desire to have sex with her, and then sent four separate e-mails containing pictures of his penis.

An FBI agent stepped in and posed as the girl, using her e-mail account, and made contact with Frazier. Frazier  allegedly then e-mailed another photo of his penis and made arrangements to meet the girl at the University of South Alabama library before taking her back to his dorm room for sex.  Authorities arrested Frazier, and he confessed. It is reported that Frazier went out to Shotgun Willies on Government Boulevard with his brother the night before his March 17 hearing and got into a fight with him after 4 a.m. Frazier and his brother allegedly made calls to the FBI switchboard during the night trying to interest investigators in information about a drug deal.

Frazier withdrew from school after his arrest and enrolled in a community college near his home in Lamar County. He had been taking online classes but had to stop when federal authorities forbade him from having Internet access.  He will remain in jail until his June 18th court date.

Prosecutors have agreed to recommend a minimum sentence under advisory guidelines, which the U.S. Probation Office estimates will be less than two years.
