25th Anniversary

25 years ago, in Amsterdam there was a IAGP conference. Group of motivated people gathered because of various reasons to establish new Psychodrama Institute, but one of most important - help Europe go and grow. This was the year of incoming big changes in Europe. And the group of people decided (as stated in statute):

"Europe is in a state of change: the European nations are undertaking various efforts to make the „common European house” habitable and to fill it with life. We, the psychodramatists of Europe, wish to contribute by making a section of this "common house" habitable, the section that concerns our work and professionalism."

And in this day of 27th of August, 1989, group voted in this sociometric way as you see in picture below.

25 years of many moments and events, conferences and training groups. Some - very special to remember, some - good working meetings.

Ildikó Mävers, one of the founders, first Chairwoman, still active in professional life of psychodrama has many things to say and to share, on what was these 25 years. On the left - current PIfE chair Evaldas Karmaza

We plan to issue additional Newsletter for this historical moment. There you will find more information.
