Dancing at Leedy focuses on classics created between mid-1950s to about 2000, with a sprinkling of modern dances. Taught by Sue and guest teachers.   $6/$10 couples at the door. FREE for first timers. Thank you for your smiling faces and happy feet.

I just wanted to remind you that Vancouver’s Annual Israeli Dance Workshop “BELEV ECHAD” is just around the corner....  May 12th – 14th, 2017

This year we are very excited to host the wonderfully talented master teacher and all round amazing guy, YARON CARMEL!!

It’s a fun filled weekend of dance, good friends, great food and lots of surprises!!

Set in the backdrop of beautiful Vancouver we start with a beautifully catered community Shabbat Dinner.

Over Saturday and Sunday we offer 3 teaching sessions, a catered lunch, a fun Country Line Dance afternoon session, a beautiful Havdalah service, dance performances and a fun and energetic party!!

The registration fee is $110 (Canadian) which includes all sessions, lunch, party and workshop music and video.

  • Cafe Shalom Dancers at Robison break during construction. Will return in Spring 2017.

The Cafe Shalom Dancers have been visiting and entertaining residents at Robison Health Center for over 20 years. They have danced every other month, 6:30 to 7:30 pm. We will be on hiatus until Jan. 2017 during construction at Robison. 

We are looking for a Cafe Shalom Dancers' coordinator. The coordinator confirms dates (we dance every other month) with Jennifer at Robison, works with Duane to confirm dances, outreaches to dancers, and coordinates with Sue for publicity.
