Popcorn Sales



Popcorn Sales starts September 6th, 2018 which also happens to coincide with our first pack meeting of the new school year.  The popcorn sale is the only fundraiser for the year for our pack and funds many of the activities we do throughout the year. 

IMPORTANT DATES

      September 6h  - Popcorn sales start

      September 30th – All money collected to this date, due to Billy

      October 21th – LAST DAY TO RETURN ANY UNSOLD POPCORN.  iF YOU HAVE POPCORN CHECKED OUT AFTER THIS DATE, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE TO SELL IT, OR PAY FOR IT.

      October 28th – All money due to Billy/Hallam

      November 1st - Popcorn sales end.

      November 19th - Deliver all popcorn

      November 19th - Turn in prize selection to Billy

      January 24th - Movie and limo event reservations due (invitations will be sent to scouts that earn it in early January)

      February 2nd - $1100 seller movie and $3250 movie, limo, AirFX events

      May 4th - Unit Popcorn challenge event for units that qualify.


Popcorn Booths

      Popcorn booths are critical to our success and help scouts achieve their sales goals. Stand sales can

really add up. You can find the dates and locations of the stands available at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20f0a4faca628a4f58-2018. Please encourage your scout to sign up for as many shifts as possible. All stand sales will be pooled and sale credit will be allocated to individual scouts based on the number of hours worked. Parent help is required. All stands are attended by 2 scouts and 2 adults each shift.  This allows scout / parent to step away if needed.  We cannot under any circumstances leave a stand without adult supervision.

 

      Popcorn booth inventory, equipment must be picked up by the scout families scheduled for the first shift the night before.  The last family working a time slot must return the booth equipment and inventory back to Billy so it can be restocked before the next day of booth sales.

Popcorn Pickup/Return Expectations

      Do not leave product in a warm vehicle and please protect the product packaging.  We cannot return damaged product.

      If you open a box and the tins are damaged, let Billy know ASAP, as we can get new product if damaged in shipping

      Scout families may take popcorn for door to door sales, however please limit the inventory you hold without payment to reduce financial risk on the pack.

      Return inventory as quickly as possible once you believe it will not be sold.

      Please bring all the money you have collected to date when exchanging or picking up popcorn.

      Please have your orders in by Sunday night.  If we don’t have have it in stock we can order more Mondays and have product by Fridays

      Typical order pickup hours: Billy will updates to this schedule on the Facebook Group page if things change.

      M-F - After 8:30 - 10:30 PM

      Sat - After 5 - 10:30  PM

      Sun - After 9 AM - 10:30 PM
