ABOUT ME

I am an assistant professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Bonn, IZA Research Fellow, and CESifo Affiliate. Besides, I am closely affiliated with the newly founded Institute on Behavior and Inequality (briq). I obtained my Ph.D. from the University of Mannheim.

The common theme of my research is human capital and the generation of inequality. This includes work on educational decision making, early childhood health, applied microeconometrics, and the effect of macroeconomic shocks on education and health outcomes.
