  Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a science based therapy encouraging well being and health through exercise, education and manual techniques.

A treatment may involve identification of causative factors, manual techniques and providing a tailored exercise and rehab programme.

It is beneficial for many physical conditions including sports injuries, lower back pain, repetitive strain injuries, tennis elbow, shoulder and neck pain. If attending for back or leg problems, please bring a pair of shorts with you to your appointment.

  Shiatsu

Shiatsu is a Japanese physical therapy that supports and strengthens the body’s natural ability to heal and balance itself. It works on the whole person - not just a physical body, but also a psychological, emotional and spiritual being.

Shiatsu originated in Japan from traditional Chinese medicine, with influences from more recent Western therapies. In Japan Shiatsu is used to treat sports injuries, back pain, sciatica, headaches, neck and shoulder pain amongst others conditions.

Treatments last up to an hour and involve gentle pressure and stretching. Please wear loose fitting clothing for treatments.
