To the Student
It’s been three hard-fought years through this long journey of attempting to beat the HKDSE Physics examination. You are extremely worried as time is running short. You promised yourself that you would work hard for it but you don’t know where to start, right? Don’t panic. This book is here to help you. Get this ultimate revision tool and let it be your shepherd. Here’re some gentle reminders:
You should have a well-panned revision time-table which includes time to relax yourself.
Revise all basic definitions, physical laws and their applications. Pay attention to the conditions of applying each physical law and formula. Make notes immediately.
Make sure that you know all the basic skills in data analysis involving a graph.
Practice is the key to a better grade. You should have full practice in reading questions carefully. The values of the physical constants in the questions would lead you in answering.
Try to determine the physical constants to be used in a question before looking at the values of them. Note that the acceleration due to gravity is not given in the test papers in this book. Please refer to the appendix for the required data and formulae.
Success in HKDSE exam comes from adequate preparation and most importantly, a positive attitude. By looking through the marking schemes as you finish the tests will let you see clearly what is required by the examiners. This book comes with a great amount of quality questions set to help you to achieve your goal. Good luck!
