Dr. Duc-P
huc NGUYEN (Nguyễn Đức Phúc) was born in Nghe An, Vietnam in 1990. He received the B.Sc. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications (honor program) in 2012, and Master degree in Microelectronics and VLSI design in 2015, both from the University of Science, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMUS), Vietnam. From 2012 to 2015, He was a lecturer and researcher at Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications (FETEL), HCMUS. He received the Doctor of Engineering degree at Graduate School of Information Science, Nara Institute of Science and Technology (NAIST), Nara, Japan in 2018. Since October 2018, he's been affiliated with Faculty of Telecommunications, Posts and Telecommunication Institute of Technology, Ho Chi Minh Campus as an assistant professor. He received the best paper award at ATC'18, and the best oral presentation at FOSCOM'18, ICFCC'17.

His research interests include Optical Wireless Communication (OWC), FPGA & VLSI-based design, Memory Controllers, Forward Error-Correction (FEC) Codes, Wireless Embedded Systems.

He is currently a regular member of IEEE (The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), IEEE Young Professionals and IEEE Photonics Society.

Beside research activities, He's also interested in music, traveling, marketing and business. Please feel free to discuss with him on these topics.
