Welcome to The PhillyRising Collaborative

PhillyRising is a program that targets neighborhoods throughout Philadelphia plagued by chronic crime and disorder problems that require a coordinated, multi-agency response.  Neighborhoods selected for PhillyRising typically have issues concerning crime, vacant properties, low income, and other indicators of quality of life issues.

The primary objectives of PhillyRising are to:

  • Fight crime and the fear of crime; including terrorism
  • Develop cost-effective methods for improving service delivery to each neighborhood;
  • Build sustainable, responsive solutions to the concerns of people living and working in each neighborhood
  • Help those living and working in the PhillyRising neighborhoods to realize their vision for their community.
