After college graduation in 1997, Philip began work at a division of Afilliated Computer Services (ACS) called ACS Merchant Services (ACS MS). While there, he coordinated client conversions from competing payment platforms to the ACS MS payment platform. He also created the company's intranet site and newsletter.
