The 2012 event went well.  In the words of the organisers: "Race went well on Saturday - no hitches and all good - weather was even behaving itself.....56 runners, winning time was 1.17, last runner time was 2.19; so whilst the winning time slightly slower than last few years the, final runner was significantly quicker than usual. Helps if you have Gavin "Shep" Punchard nipping your heels I guess!"

This is a classic, beautiful but tough fell run ‘a must for all those that enjoy off road running’ from Sticklepath Village on the Northern edge of Dartmoor.  The course is 9.6 miles and involves 1700 ft ascent over high moor land over rough unmarked terrain, to be held under the rules of the Fell Runners Association, race classification BM.  There are a number of checkpoints but self navigation is required and all runners should be prepared for this.
