Phai Phongthiengtham, Ph.D.

My name is Phai Phongthiengtham. I am currently a Data Scientist at IBM Corporate Headquarters. My business unit, Chief Analytics Office, aims to combine advanced analytics with business knowledge to accelerate IBM internal business process and direct the future of IBM’s strategic transformation.

I have led a team of junior data scientists and software engineers to develop and deploy AI solutions across various domains including legal, sales and workforce.

I am originally from Bangkok, Thailand. I received my Ph.D. in economics from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2019, and my B.A. in economics from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand in 2011.
