Chapter: Atlanta

Contestant for Position: Vice President, Memberships

Manifesto:

Atlanta chapter has been losing its shine a bit after some key members moved to other places. Atlanta being the most important chapter in the South East region has a great potential to tap into vast population of Indians in the region. My goal would be to rekindle the energy in the chapter and explore various options to tap into this vast pool of human resources in the region. With the 2014 elections approaching soon and four new constituencies being setup, it is extremely important that we increase our membership base as much as possible and provide support to our candidates contesting in these constituencies in every way we can and help them show their full strength.

For honest parties with honest agenda people are the greatest strength.  In order to tap into this huge resource in the region we need propagate the great work done by LSP in Kukatpally and also at the state level more effectively into the masses and create avenues for people to be a part of the change which everyone wants to see in society. We need to make effective use of various technologies available to us to reach people. We have various resources like print, electronic/visual media which we can tap into. One way would be publish monthly newsletters on the work done by LSP at the grassroots and by the chapter.

I believe if we can pull our act together and work honestly, leaving no stone unturned in our efforts to increase our human resource, we can be an invaluable resource to our folks working at the grassroots in the coming elections in particular and move one step closer in realizing our dreams of change the system.
