Peter P Tan
Hello! I am an Assistant Professor at Fordham University. Prior to coming to Fordham, I was at Middlebury College.
I work in general philosophy of science. My current work focuses on a mixture of the following three issues: characterizing scientific representation, developing a scientific metaphysics that is appropriately informed by how scientific representation works, and the epistemology of computational science. Sometimes I write about metaphysics and epistemology more broadly as well.
I have diverse teaching interests that extend beyond philosophy of science, metaphysics, and epistemology. I especially enjoy teaching classical Chinese philosophy and developing new ways to teach logic.
If you'd like to contact me, please write to email@example.com.
