I do not usually preach from a manuscript. I don't think you want me to read to you. Besides, the techniques of effective spoken communication are different from the those of written communication. Sermons happen to me as a constellation of interconnected images and ideas. By the time I step into the pulpit on a Sunday morning I will have preached the sermon many times; aloud and in my head.
The sermon texts you will find elsewhere are usually heavily edited transcriptions from a recording. They are essays on the same subject as the original sermon.
The audio sermons here were preached at the Universalist Unitarian Church of Waterville, Maine in 2009-2011. I thought you would rather hear what I did in response to a specific congregation, rather than a collection of "The Best of ... ."
