* ECTS = The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System is a student-centered system based on the student workload required to achieve the objectives of a programme, objectives preferably specified in terms of learning outcomes and competences to be acquired. One credit stands for 24 to 28 working hours (based on the supposition that the student has a total of 36-40 weeks per year). Thus 5 ECTS would mean 3 hours per week; 3 ECTS is equivalent to 2 hours per week.
