Established in 2015, Process & Energy Systems Engineering (PESE) Laboratory has been engaged in research on resource conservation/allocation in various process industries and energy systems. We develop and make good use of generic mathematical optimisation techniques to solve real world problems in a systematic and holistic manner.

Our recent research centres around the deployment of low-carbon technologies including:
  1. End-use energy efficiency,
  2. Renewables and
  3. Carbon capture & storage (CCS).
