Perth Sailing Club RYA trainee wins the Torbay Cup during the Tall Ships race

Peter Threipland, a Perth Sailing Club RYA trainee from 2009/2010, has won the Torbay Cup for being the outstanding trainee during the Tall Ships race last July. Bob Watson, the Commodore of Perth Sailing Club, presented Peter with the trophy at the PSC clubhouse last Saturday on behalf of the Sailing Training Association.

Perthshire school boy, Peter Threipland will be presented with the Torbay Cup by the Commodore of Perth Sailing Club   The Torbay Cup is awarded annually to a young person aged 16 - 25 years old, who has demonstrated outstanding individual achievement and personal effort in the Tall Ships Races, organised by Sail Training International.
