Counting down

posted 21 Oct 2018, 13:48 by John Ferguson
The second last weekend of the season comprised racing on Saturday and general sailing on Sunday. The weather on Sunday started a bit grey but there was a good breeze and the sun came out after a while. Some members sailed up river by Moncrieff Island but the wind got rather light and shifty but that didn't hold Keiran back choosing a kayak to complete a circumnavigation. As the tide started to ebb, one member found he was heading slowly towards Dundee despite pointing the boat towards Perth so the safety guys had one rescue to perform. It happens to the best of us!
