13-14 October

No racing took place this weekend at Lairwell with the river running high and a light wind on Saturday. Keith Cuthbert was the only person to go sailing in difficult conditions.
By Sunday, the river had slowed considerably and the wind shifted to the east but was still very light. Four boats took to the water for a bit of practice with the two Lasers managing to reach Moncrieff Island before returning to the club for some refreshment.
Only one weekend remains of the sailing season at Perth in a fortnight as the tide is unsuitable next weekend.
