"DH" makes his directorial debut for our festival with Teed Off, although he has directed more than 150 main-stage productions in his 38 years as a drama teacher in San Diego.  DH is proud to claim festival directors Kevin Six and Jonathan Sturch as former students.  Love and hugs to Sharie!

After a long absence from his birthplace, Michael is delighted to be making his re-entry into San Diego Theatre with the New Perspective Festival.  He has performed extensively in various media as an actor, singer, director in New York, Northern and Southern California and Guadalajara, Mexico.




Kathleen McLaughlin, Playwright

A native San Diegan, Kathleen has enjoyed many years in technical writing, journalism, illustration and
public speaking. She has always had an interest in observing human behavior and communication
with those we love…and those we don’t. Using the art of play writing, she hopes to continue in this
rewarding endeavor.
