Jay Mower, Director

Many of Jay’s shows are multiple Aubrey Award winning productions including, “I Do!, I Do!” and “The Diary of Anne Frank” at Patio Playhouse, “To Kill A Mockingbird” at Scripps Ranch Theatre, and “Angel Street,” “Lips Together, Teeth Apart,” and  “A Streetcar Named Desire” at PowPAC.  Jay is thrilled to have the opportunity to work on this fun play with such a great cast.

Peter Frankland as Ted

Background: theatre, film, television and radio. Stage: “The Foreigner” and “A Chorus of Disapproval” last year at the Odyssey Theatre in West L A. Film and TV: “Puppet Master III”, “Assault on Precinct 13” (the original), “Elvis and Me” and “The A-Team”. He appeared in “Ordinary People” at OnStage and as a language instructor in “G’s To Gents” on MTV.

Mr. Frankland appeared in the festival last year in the piece Every Girl's Dream by Stephanie Timm, also directed by Jay Mower

Diana Dillon as Alice

Diana’s television credits include “Twilight Zone”, “The A-Team”, “Hunter”, and “T.J. Hooker”. As a stage actor she has performed in such standards as “Death of a Salesman”, “The Odd Couple”, “Cowboy Mouth” and a few Shakespeare yarns. Her passion is performing in original ‘slice of life’ plays. This makes “Love, Unrequited” a perfect venue. She is especially thrilled to work with her husband Peter Frankland.

Sharon Lawson as Carol

Local audiences have seen Sharon in Ordinary People (OnStage), Lips Together, Teeth Apart (PowPAC), Eat Your Heart Out (Lamplighters), Dinner with Friends (PowPAC), Hay Fever (OnStage), Nuts (Patio), Moon Over Buffalo (Coronado), and Fiddler on the Roof (CCT). Other favorites include: Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Chicago (Roxie Hart), The King and I (Anna), Little Mary Sunshine (title role), SUDS (Dee Dee), and Brighton Beach Memoirs (Blanche).

Peter Lawson as Bob

Peter most recently played Tom, the Marketing Manager in the film “Power Tie”, which was entered in several short film festivals.  He appeared in several episodes of the “Veronica Mars” TV series and was also in the mini-series “Murder in Beverly Hills: The Menendez Brothers Story”.  In addition, Peter has appeared in numerous videos, industrial films, and TV commercials.
