Exercise

The best way to  keep your mind and your body healthy

Before starting any exercise program, first contact your doctor to make sure you are in good health and able to exercise.  This is especially important for those with health problems, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes, and those with injuries such as knee or shoulder problems.

The next thing that is important to exercise is having good Posture before you start your exercise program.  Posture can be a very difficult thing to accomplish, expecially if you have had bad posture for a long time.  Learning to stand and sit correctly is just a matter of practice.  You may have sore shoulders and upper back, but if  you continue to do the exercises for good posture for two weeks, you will feel better in the long run.  Good posture is important during exercise so that you prevent injury and do the exercises correctly.  Visit the posture link to learn more about how to correct your stance and some related injuries caused from poor posture.

Foundation exercises are the perfect start to an exercise program.  These are the exercises that help you achieve your perfect posture and teach you to use correct form in all the other exercises.   Another reason to start with the Foundation exercises is so that you decrease you chances of injury during your regular workout session.
