Persimmon scones with powder sugar glaze

2 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1/2 cup sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 stick chilled unsalted butter cut into cubed

1/2 cup half and half cream

1 egg yolk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup persimmon purée

Bake 400 degrees (F) for 20 Minutes

Powder sugar glaze

1/2 cup powder sugar

3 teaspoons half and half cream

2 teaspoons cornstarch syrup

Mix ingredients together in a small cup or bowl to form the glaze
