About my research

I'm starting a young research group at Curie Institute in Paris in the biophysics department (UMR168) from the summer 2015. We are looking for postdocs and students, contact me if you are interested.

My current research activities focus on:

- deciphering the hematopoietic tree using single cell lineage tracing methods in combination with mathematical modeling.
- modeling T cell dynamics
- inventing new metaphors for immunology

In the last five years, I have been working intensively on cell differentiation. But I am interested in all fields of immunology, in particular interested in theoretical aspects.

I feel it is essential to have both experimental, mathematical and philosophical approaches in immunology. To me, only taking an integrative and dynamic approach will bring some understanding to the immune response.
