Mission and outreach is central to the work of People for Jesus International Ministries. Pastor Tom Opiyo, who leads this ministry, has travelled widely in Africa and has also reached as far away as Pakistan to build up and support the local church.
Now established in the villages surrounding Narok town which lies on the periphery of the the Maasai Mara, people for Jesus International Ministries is reaching out to some of the worlds poorest people, both materially and spiritually.
Pastor Tom has been involved in church planting for some years. A recent church plant in Tanzania amongst the Mang'ati people see PFJIM established in neighbouring Tanzania.
The development of the work of PFJIM has now reached into one of Kenya's neighbours, the country of Uganda.
During early 2011 pastor Tom Opiyo travelled to Pakistan to preach and to encourage Christians there. The church in Pakistan is in great need and so PFJIM hopes to begin an arm of the ministry in Pakistan very soon.
