Venango County Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2025 Update Process Begins
The Hazard Mitigation Planning Update Process has begun in Venango County. The Hazard Mitigation Plan serves as a blueprint for reducing property damage and saving lives from the impacts of natural and human-made hazards.
The Plan will be updated over the next year with the next meeting occurring on January 9th, 2025. Two sessions will be held to kick-off the Local Hazard Mitigation Planning process. To maximize municipal participation, communities and organizations may choose between an AM or a PM session. The morning session will be held in-person, and the evening session will be held virtually on Google Meet to accommodate stakeholder schedules. The material covered at each session will be identical, and communities need only attend one session.
